JONATHAN TAYLOR is an author, editor, lecturer and critic. His books include two novels, Entertaining Strangers (Salt, 2012) and Melissa (Salt, 2015) and , two memoirs, Take Me Home (Granta, 2007) and A Physical Education (Goldsmiths, 2024), and the short story collection Scablands and Other Stories (Salt, 2023). He is editor of anthologies including High Spirits: A Round of Drinking Stories (Valley, 2018). He also writes academically, and directs the popular book review website Everybody’s Reviewing.
Jonathan directs the MA in Creative Writing at the University of Leicester. Originally from Stoke-on-Trent, he now lives in Leicestershire with his wife, the poet Maria Taylor, and their twin daughters, Miranda and Rosalind.
