OLIVER HARRIS writes the Nick Belsey series of crime novels (Jonathan Cape) and the Elliot Kane series of espionage novels (Little, Brown). His work has been translated into ten languages, optioned for film and television, and featured on the BBC. In 2016 he published a study of Greek myth and philosophy in the work of Jacques Lacan: Lacan’s Return to Antiquity (Routledge).
He has an MA in creative writing from UEA, and one in Shakespeare studies from UCL. He has taught at Birkbeck and Cambridge universities, and in 2018 he joined Manchester Metropolitan University where he is currently a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing.
